Elpida Vogli has a Ph.D from the department of History at the AUTH (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) since 2003. She has taught Hellenic and European History at the department of Journalism and Mass Media at the AUTH, the Hellenic Open University, and has also been a research associate at ELIA (Hellenic Literature and Historical Archive). She is currently a lecturer of Modern Greek History at the department of History and Ethnology at the DUTH (Dimocritus University of Thrace). Her research interests involve issues of citizenship, national and gender identities, and social and political rights. She is also interested in political and social history with an emphasis on the history of the institution of family.
